Xavier Muniz’s photography and lighting explores a wide range for the medium. After growing up in the South Bronx during the 80’s-90’s, Xavier’s photography has drawn inspiration from fashion, fine art, architecture, cinema, design, street art and, of course, from New York City’s diverse cultures which has given him a defining perspective and vision.
A 20-year veteran in the fashion photography industry, he has collaborated with many well known and highly respected photographers, celebrities, art directors, stylists and makeup artists in the industry; successfully delivering some of the most influential seasonal campaigns for Prada, Armani, Zara, Peloton, Cover Girl, Tag Heuer, Moschino, H&M, Lancome, and the Michelin calendar. Xavier’s photography helped the successful and sold out launch for the clothing brand Universal Standard Clothing and his photographs for the clothing line RUE107 has become their most well liked campaign on social media.
Xavier has worked alongside with some of the world's most celebrated artists, including Madonna, Rihanna, DJ Kahled, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Ellen Degeneres, Tom Cruise, and Justin Timberlake on music videos and editorials shoots for Allure, American Vogue, Italian Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Numero, Rolling Stone, Interview Magazine, L’Uomo Vogue, Details Magazine and many others.
Xavier lives with his family in Westchester, NY. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and you will almost always find him on a longboard cruising around NYC.
